Michael Patrick "Mike" Reusing, 83, passed away on June 13, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Cumming Georgia, following a brief illness.

He is survived by his children, Cathe Reusing James, Carolyn Reusing Lewis, Cynthia Reusing Shaw, Michael Patrick Reusing Jr., Thomas Albert Reusing, and Robert Daniel Reusing, his grandchildren, Brittany Lewis, Preston Lewis, Alexandra James, Victoria James, Kendall Reusing, Emma Reusing, Scott Chastain, Adam Chastain, as well as great-grandchildren Jaylen, Jace, Camden, and Gracie.

He is survived by his children, Cathe Reusing James, Carolyn Reusing Lewis, Cynthia Reusing Shaw, Michael Patrick Reusing Jr., Thomas Albert Reusing, and Robert Daniel Reusing, his grandchildren, Brittany Lewis, Preston Lewis, Alexandra James, Victoria James, Kendall Reusing, Emma Reusing, Scott Chastain, Adam Chastain, as well as great-grandchildren Jaylen, Jace, Camden, and Gracie.

He was born in Reading, Pennsylvania to Marie and Albert Reusing, who are now deceased. He is survived by his sister Pat Coller, brothers Vince Reusing and Tim Reusing as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School. In high school, he played basketball and was part of the State Championship team. He also played American Legion baseball.

After graduating high school, he served in the United States Army as a MP. during the Korean Conflict. While serving in Japan he continued playing baseball in the military league.

After serving, he and his brother Bert, relocated to Atlanta to attend Georgia Institute of Technology. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1961.

After graduation, he worked at Walker Tool & Die. In 1964, he opened Tucker Tool & Die, with four other owners who he ultimately bought out. The company eventually became Tucker Technology, Inc. which he owned and operated until he became ill in recent months.

Other than his family, he was passionate about four things. First and foremost, was his company, at which he personally ran and controlled all operations. He also was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing different courses throughout the world. Another hobby was maintaining his private pilot's license which allowed him to travel throughout the United States. Throughout his life, he enjoyed participating in sports and followed local sports teams, especially Georgia Tech football.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, Georgia. A burial will be immediately following at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia. Visitation on Friday June 16 from 6-9 pm.
